
What’s holding you back?

When something is important to us (I mean REALLY important), it should be easy to find the motivation to find a way to make it a priority. IF we find ourselves unable to work towards achieving a VERY important goal, we HAVE to find out WHAT IS HOLDING YOU BACK??
If we are 100% honest with ourselves, we don’t need a self-help book, an expert, self-reflection, a best friend, a family member, really nobody to tell us what is keeping us from moving forward.
Sit down in a quiet spot with a piece of paper and pen. At the top write down what your goal is. Likely it is in the area of improving our health, getting to a healthier weight, becoming more active, conquering an addiction, overcoming a diagnosis. The only other thing you need to write down is WHAT IS HOLDING YOU BACK?
Sounds too simple? It really is. I don’t mean to make this seem so flippant, but sometimes we make things too complicated. I’m as guilty as the next person of overthinking a lot of things. Write your goal, write what is keeping you from your goal, overcome that obstacle. Period. No discussion needed.
