Summer is over….now what??

How do your summer months look for you? Are you the kind of person who stays on task and keeps things running smoothly during June, July and August? OOORRRRR, are you like me and any kind of routine goes out the window as you deal with: kids being home, camps, summer leagues, vacation, social gatherings, and all things “summer.”

It can be so much fun, so chaotic, and sooooooo exhausting. But, there’s light at the end of the tunnel. Labor Day marks the end of summer. Though it is a little sad, let’s put a positive spin on it and get a solid, healthy schedule set for yourself. There is calm and comfort in having a predictable routine. There is peace is knowing what to expect each day.

Having a schedule makes regular meals easier to manage, fitting exercise in more realistic, and just a sense of control. Which is nice.

Now that you’re getting back into a routine, order your meal replacements to help you have healthy nutritional options on hand for regularly-spaced meals. ALWAYS get calories in within 1-2 hours of waking up to jump start your metabolism. Making a meal replacement to drink on your way to work, school, or your first obligation of the day guarantees to get your day off on a good foot.
