Can Exercising Be Fun?

For as long as I can remember, I have heard people say they hate to exercise. Honestly, in saying this, you simply have not found something you enjoy doing.

“Exercise” can be pretty much anything that gets you up and moving. Exercising does not have to be putting on certain clothes, going to a certain place, and making yourself drenched in sweat and miserable.

You can be as creative as you want to be. Sometimes you don’t even have to get out of your chair. I have a whole list of movements you can do while sitting down watching your favorite show that will get your heart rate up and burn calories. Let me know if you want me to send these to you.

Long story long, think of something you used to enjoy doing and find a way to make it your exercise. When you start it back up, you will regain that love and becoming active on a regular basis will be much easier.

My favorite sport is basketball, and I have been coaching at all levels for over 28 years. I enjoy time with my best friend (God), time with my kids, traveling, watching all sports, and working out.
